Social Media @NSULibrary
The NSULibraries are active on many different Social Media platforms.
Follow us on Twitter: @NSULibrary - we post about once a day during the week. We post hours and events in the library. We also RT interesting facts. We hold book give aways during National Library Week and Finals week. You can only win by following us.
Like us on FaceBook: As NSULibraries or NSUBA Library, we usually post hours or events here. You can join us by having conversations on our wall. Ask questions or comment. We usually check FaceBook about once a day.
If you like chat, try our Ask a Librarian feature. We use a Meebo chat box on our website. You can login as a guest and ask a question. From 9-4 Mon-Thurs, you can chat with a librarian and ask questions.
Both libraries also have Flickr accounts. NSULibraries is also on MySpace and Xanga, but we will admit that we are not active on these spaces.
And we have blogs, this is one and BA Library has one on Wordpress. Feel free to comment on an article. We use these spaces to say more about events in the libraries and sometimes to tell about services and resources in the library.
Look at the bottom of this screen for links to some of our social media accounts.
Do you have suggestions about how the libraries can use social media more effectively? Let us know!
