Archivist, Vickie Sheffler and assistant Brenda Cochran have been very busy creating exhibits for various centennial events.

Their work is also being showcased in a new addition to the Library website. The JVL Digital Library will debut next week with digital images scanned by University Archives. The digital library online has been developed by Linda West in Library Technical Services.

Take a look at the first issue of The Northeastern or some items from time capsules placed in Seminary Hall. The collection will continue to grow as documents are added to the JVL Digital Library at http://library.nsuok.edu/digital/.

Celebrate NSU Presidents Day with the Library

The John Vaughan Library Centennial Committee invites you to honor the NSU Presidents on Wednesday, Feb. 18 at 9:55 a.m.

NSU President Dr. Don Betz will speak briefly at 10 a.m. in the 'Hall of the Presidents' on the first floor of the library, in the south hall near the Circulation desk, where pictures of the NSU Presidents are located.

Free Centennial handouts will be provided.

Join fellow NSU faculty and staff in celebrating John Vaughan Library's 60th Birthday today from 10 a.m. to noon on the second floor balcony of the library.

Cake will be served and everyone is invited to attend to celebrate the library's milestone.
