New Carpet in the John Vaughan Library
New carpet is beginning to be installed in the John Vaughan Library. Workers started on the third floor and have moved to second. More work will be done this week when they can start moving book shelves.
It already looks so much better.
Here is an interesting picture of all the carpet the library has ever had. The original green/gold square in the middle dates to 1966 when the new building was built. The two blues replaced the green/gold in 1996. And now we get the brown swirls in 2013.
